Refund Policy

Zip offers one in-app purchase: Zip Premium (one-time unlock). This page explains how refunds work.

1. Who processes refunds

All refunds are processed by the app store that sold you Premium — not by us directly. This is how mobile IAP works worldwide.

2. How to request a refund

On Google Play

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptionsBudget & history.
  3. Find the Zip Premium purchase → tap the item → Refund.
  4. Follow the prompts. Google usually decides within minutes.

If the option is missing (usually because it's past 48 hours), use Google's refund request form.

On Apple App Store

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Find the Zip Premium purchase → Request a refund.
  4. Pick a reason, submit. Apple usually responds within 48 hours.

3. When we step in

We can help coordinate refunds in these cases:

Reach us at zipper.game@desichallenge.com. Include your order ID (starts with GPA. for Google Play) in the first email so we can act fast.

5. If your refund is approved

The app store notifies us automatically. Within 24 hours, your Premium access is removed and the app returns to the free tier. You keep all your puzzle progress and streak — only the Premium entitlement is revoked.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us or the store before initiating a card chargeback. Chargebacks cost us more in fees than the purchase itself, and they result in permanent suspension of the account the purchase was tied to. We'd much rather just refund you.
