Terms of Service

These are the terms between you and Bhavna Infotech when you use the Zip mobile app or website. Short, honest, no small print.

1. Using the app

You can use Zip if you can legally enter a contract in your country (usually 13+, or 16+ in the EU). You agree to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't reverse-engineer it, don't try to cheat the leaderboard, don't hammer our servers with automated requests.

2. Accounts

You can play without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for any activity under your account. If you lose access, email zipper.game@desichallenge.com and we'll help.

3. Premium (in-app purchase)

"Premium" is a one-time, non-refundable in-app purchase that unlocks bigger daily boards, removes ads, and removes the hint gate. You buy it through Google Play (or the Apple App Store when available), which is the seller of record. Refund policy follows the store's rules — see our refund policy for details.

We do not operate subscriptions. If you see a subscription charge linked to Zip, it is not us — please report it to the store immediately.

4. Acceptable use

Don't do any of these — we reserve the right to suspend accounts that do:

• Submit falsified leaderboard times or automated inputs.
• Pick display names that are harassing, hateful, sexual, or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to extract our puzzle data or algorithms for a competing product.
• Distribute modified APKs or cracked versions of the app.

5. User content

The only thing you "submit" is your display name and your puzzle-solve times. By setting a display name you grant us a non-exclusive license to show it on the leaderboard and in push notifications ("Avani just broke your record!"). Don't pick a name you'd be upset to see in public.

6. Intellectual property

The Zip name, logo, puzzle designs, and source code are owned by Bhavna Infotech. The path-puzzle concept itself is not patented and anyone is free to build a similar game — but our specific puzzles and artwork are not. Don't copy them.

7. Availability

We run Zip on our own servers. We aim for high uptime but we do not guarantee the service will always be available. If it's down, the app will serve the last-cached puzzle and sync when we're back.

8. Changes

Features come and go. The core daily-puzzle loop isn't going anywhere, but smaller things (leaderboard rules, hint pricing, push frequency) may change. We'll announce material changes in-app.

9. Termination

You can delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete account any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate section 4, typically after a warning, without refund for any Premium unlock tied to that account.

10. Liability

Zip is a puzzle game. We are not liable for missed meetings, broken streaks caused by force majeure, or any indirect damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us (which is zero if you never bought Premium, or the price of Premium if you did).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts in Rajkot, Gujarat. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
